Prices vary by size, detail, and materials. Cost is per serving; bigger orders need more time and ingredients. Extra charges may apply for sculpting, hand‑painting, specialty materials (fondant, sugar work, molded/pulled sugar, specialty chocolate, seasonal, or specialty items), rush orders, complex supports, multi‑tier cakes, and edible prints. We’ll send an itemized quote—please tell us servings, design examples, and any special ingredients. Final price covers ingredients, labor, and care.

Handmade, small-batch love: Every cake, cupcake, and treat is crafted by hand by a tiny team (just us two pandas). That means attention to detail, care in every swirl of frosting, and a personal connection to each order we receive. You get direct communication, flexible customization, and a consistent creative voice. No big bakery churn; just consistent, personalized results.
Custom-creativity-first: Cute and quirky? Elegant and extravagant? We design each piece to match your vision. From themed sculpted cakes to bespoke cupcake assortments, we build your idea into an edible centerpiece rather than forcing you into a preset menu.
Food + art fusion: We don’t stop at tasty — we make treats that look like art. Our decorating draws from mixed-media sensibilities, so textures, colors, and playful elements make each creation gallery-worthy and Instagram-happy.
Quality ingredients, flavor-forward: Pretty doesn’t trump taste. We use quality ingredients so the cake is as delicious as it is beautiful. Balanced sweetness, real butter and premium chocolate mean our desserts are worth every calorie.
Workshops & party decorating: We bring the fun to your event. Want a hands-on decorating party or a professional touch for a celebration? We teach, guide, and decorate so your guests leave with smiles — and maybe a frosting moustache.
Art beyond desserts: When you’re not hungry, enjoy our mixed-media pieces. We create art that complements our edible work, offering a cohesive aesthetic for parties, gifts, or home decor.
If you want something with a playful, handmade spirit and full creative partnership, that’s Panda Bakes — two pandas, a lot of heart, and food made into art. And art to keep forever.

A Minnesota cottage food license lets individuals prepare and sell low-risk, homemade foods (like baked goods, jams, candies, and some dry mixes) made in a home kitchen without full commercial kitchen permitting. Sellers must register with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, follow labeling requirements (including ingredient list, allergen declaration, net weight, business name and address, and the cottage food statement), and adhere to sales limits and allowed product lists. Foods that require refrigeration, are potentially hazardous, or need time/temperature control (e.g., meat, most dairy, cut produce) are not permitted. The program is designed for small-scale, direct-to-consumer sales at farmers markets, roadside stands, or direct delivery.
